Acting classes in English for adults in Tbilisi

Try an intensive of five classes, or a laboratory that runs two months and ends with a show where everyone has a part 🤍

no critique, no grades for how well you did
In short

How it works

You start doing from the first minute: exercises in pairs and in groups. Some of it clicks right away, some doesn't — we work with what you already have. Groups of 12–18 people, led by the school's masters.

🌱IntensiveFive sessions, three hours each: improvisation, voice, attention, body, emotions, contact. The way to try the school.
🎭Laboratory18 sessions over two months: from études to a show in a real theatre. Led by a master and a director.
👣Trial classCome to the first class of any programme and decide after. Not for you — you pay for that one class only.

Everything runs in English. One participant put it this way: “English means people who are open-minded, who went abroad, who learn a new language. That's already a plus.”

We don't train actors

Acting here is a way to try what ordinary life doesn't offer: to be someone else, to do what you usually don't allow yourself, and to see what happens. Most people find out they are more interesting than they thought.

What people come with

🪨To let out what's stuck insideSomething has been building up with nowhere to go. Words stopped working a while ago.
I had a feeling that I had a very heavy stone rock. At the end of the session, I was free from this baggageSofia · intensive
Society doesn't like abnormal people. I'm hiding all my abnormalities from society. These classes are a safe place to be abnormalNatia · intensive
🏠To find your people and get a deep connectionThere are people around, but the evenings are empty — and nowhere to meet someone you would actually want to see again.
If I don't have local community — then what else holds me hereI consider these people close friends NOW!!!Tom · intensive
People are people, you see them every day. But here the situation is planned so that you get close to peopleTemo · intensive
🌀To get out of your head and back into your bodyThe day is spent in tasks and screens, and the mind doesn't switch off by itself — not in the evening, not on weekends.
My mind was silent. I was not dissociated and I was not in my head. I was in my bodyFarah · intensive

The point of it

What you take away

We asked participants what changed for them. Their answers lined up with exactly those three reasons people come with.

🪨→🕊️ To let out what's stuck inside
  • you did the thing you never let yourself do
  • you walk out lighter than you walked in
  • something stays yours: the show you made
🏠→🫂 To find your people and get a deep connection
  • you leave a class open, not drained
  • there are actual people you keep seeing after it ends
  • you are seen: in an exercise, in a partner's response, in what the audience says
🌀→🤸 To get out of your head and back into your body
  • three hours passed without a single thought about work
  • you feel rested afterwards, not more tired
  • the evening is over and you are in a better mood than usual

This is how participants described it themselves

You've probably tried these already

How this is different

If you've tried working on yourself, or unwinding

🛋️TherapyWe don't replace it: therapy is for understanding and making sense. It's easier to make sense of something when there is something to work with — here you get new experience of yourself. Many of ours bring it to their therapist afterwards.
🧘Yoga, pilates, danceThe body is there, but the moves repeat: a month in, you're doing the same thing. “Helps, but minimally, you just repeat” — how one participant described her previous experience.
🏋️Gym, pool, meditationThe body is busy and the head keeps working. “Even in meditation I can't get rid of all the thoughts — something is still spinning” — a participant who came in burnt out.

Therapy and acting make a good mix — fun and deep

If you're comparing us to acting schools

🎯Nobody teaches you to actActing schools teach a craft: speech, technique, a role. Here acting is a way to try yourself — you don't need any skill to start.
🫶Nobody breaks down your workNo one will say “so what exactly was that”. No favourites, no notes on who did it better — we work with what's there.
🎭The show is not an examThe laboratory ends on a real stage. But everyone has a part: no auditions, no lead roles handed out for talent.
From the inside

What happens in a class

⭕A class opens with a circle. You can say what you came with — or stay quiet, that's an answer too.

🤸Then exercises: in pairs and in groups. Nothing to know in advance, nothing to figure out in advance. We work with what you already have.

💬At the end — everyone together again. We share what stayed with us.

Worth knowing beforehand:

  • 🕒

An intensive class runs 3 hours, a laboratory class 4. There are breaks inside.

  • 👕

No special clothes needed — anything you can move in.

  • ☕

Tea, coffee, water and snacks are there. You don't need to bring anything.

  • 🚪

Running late — just come, we're waiting for you)

About safety

Why it doesn't feel scary

Not because we promised it. We go step by step: first it becomes calm and familiar, and from that place it's no longer frightening to try what you've never done.

A circle at the start and at the end.Every class opens and closes with a circle — you can say what you came with and what you leave with. Or stay quiet.
Touch only with consent. In exercises with contact the master asks. “Can I touch you?” — and you answer. “No” doesn't spoil anything.
Any exercise can be skipped.Sitting out and watching is fine. It doesn't count as failing and nobody will point it out.
Groups of 12–18.Enough not to be on display, and enough to have someone to do it with.

How participants describe it:

The words “be gentle”, “do I have your consent?”, “can I touch you?” — they really changed the gameFarah · intensive
Being completely naked in front of people. No nationality, no wars, no religion, no politics. Just human beings. It was just beautifulMao · intensive
I didn't expect to connect that much. On such a deep level. This is the strongest and best thing in the world that we lack ten timesLela · intensive
You actually know — oh, that person also has their topics they don't feel comfortable with. That makes you feel connectedTom · intensive

This is not a promise of results. It's what people told us themselves, a few weeks after their programme ended.
